    Here I offer a nice AU/UNC copper medal or token of William Pitt who is the same William Pitt (the elder) who endeared himself to America for his support of the colonies and opposition to the Stamp Act. His coins are listed in the Red book. He became Prime Minister of England in 1766 prior to the American revolutionary war. Known as a Sentimental token or medal they were given with subscriptions to the Sentimentalist magazine.  There were13 different (and several varieties and metals) and this is one of them. Well struck with hard glossy surfaces.
