1790's George III, Charlotte, Desecrated British Copper Conder/Provincial Token

1790's George III and Charlotte (Yes, Charlotte N.C. Namesake) "Long May They Reign Over a Grateful People" and on the reverse "Medals and Provincial Coins" desecrated by a not-so grateful person long ago...
VERY Interesting piece, here, haven't seen this before when coinage was desecrated to this degree, thinking they've been taken out of circulation or were collected long ago. King George III and his wife Charlotte on the obverse, this was intentional damage, and against George only, not Charlotte.

Apparently somebody in the last 250 years or so wasn't happy with King George III! Most likely Colonial in Origin, the previous owner decided to desecrate his image on this token, and it wasn't me!
An interesting piece, one of kind I would think...Martha was left unscathed, but poor George's likeness is pretty well attacked, multiple times obviously until his visage is very well desecrated.
Due to the shortage of Regal coinage in the 1790's and the fact that the population of Great Britain had nearly quadrupled, the masses were forces to either create non-regal coinage of George III (1760-1820) or with permission from The Crown, they produced their own copper coinage to be used as change for workers and business customers.
These Provincial or Conder Tokens were widely produced so based on the image or business depicted on these tokens they have been collected and used both throughout Europe and here in the US.
