    Description

Since the release of the new book by Richard Coleman with nice pictures and prices, it is now a lot easier to price these elusive copper coins that saw extensive circulation in the early United States and were legal until at least 1858. He priced the coins using auction records, fixed price lists and of course his extensive knowledge of the series.  These coins are mentioned in the Red Book although there is not enough room to list them there.
Offered here is a 1791 evasive halfpenny. Also listed as a Conder token. Has a lettered edge, "PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE OF IONATHAN GARTON & Co. Could have seen service in the early U.S. See the scans. Free U.S. shipping. Paypal, or check.
If you want to make an offer please do so. Worst thing is I say no.
I AM RETIRING SOON IF I GET MY WAY, SO IF ANY OF MY ITEMS ARE OF INTEREST JUST MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER AND I WILL CONSIDER IT. I AM NOT ABLET TO TAKE THEM WITH ME SO ALL MUST GO
