This is a nice vintage early printed advertising postcard promoting General Trust Company of Illinois located at 152 Monroe Street in Chicago, Illinois featuring a view of a Lawrence Earle Painting showing the great flood in the Chicago River in 1849.

The corners have wear. The right corners have small creases. The image is nice but with some postal cancellation staining. Postally used in 1914.
Please Note: If you see a florescent colored line or streak on the postcard image it is from the scan, not on the card. Typically found a vertical line to the right of the center.The colors tend to come in Green, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Purple & Red.
