    Description

This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.
This is an absolutely outstanding reproduction of a middle 19th century (1840s - 1870s) Civilian Man's Double-Breasted Paletot style Frock Coat with three working exterior pockets - eight matching fabric covered Buttons down the front (see photo), 2 buttons on the back and correctly patterned wide fall collar (more accurate reproduction than most you will find).  This fits very well and tailored nicely for the middle 19th century.  A common coat for men of all stations of life. Very, very nice all around.  Lined in Brown polished cotton and the sleeves lined in off-white, natural-colored cotton. Can't be beat for the price.  Never worn and new.
SIZE is tagged as a 40" chest, but made slightly oversized so can easily fit up to a 42"+ chest.  Made of a beautiful wool in a rich BLACK wool.
    Armpit-to-Armpit:  22"
    Sleeve Length:     24 1/2"
    Length of Coat:    36"
A nice coat for Civil War re-enacting, SASS, Cowboy living history, Neo-Victorian and Steampunk.
