Great Britain, Scotland, Conder token, Edinburgh-Lothian, 1791, D&H # 40, 29.2 mm. The obverse shows St. Andrew holding Saltire cross, with thistles on either side. The obverse legend shows: "NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET 1791". The reverse show the Edinburgh coat of arms, with thistles on either side. The legend shows EDINBURGH HALFPENNY". The edge shows "PAYABLE AT EDINBURGH GLASGOW & DUMFRIES X". Both sides are primarily medium brown tone, with strong detail on the design features and nice surfaces.
