Haversack Lot, Three Civil War haversacks, Reenacting

Description

Three haversacks. Two pillow ticking haversacks and one federal painted canvas haversack.
1. Pillow ticking haversack heavily field used. Has staining from pine tar and coffee. Inner bag is missing. Great for Confederate or civilian impression. One strap started to tear so it is repaired with a piece of cotton shirting. Wood Button closure.
2. Pillow ticking haversack is smaller, used as a secondary haversack or for a child’s impression. Cleaner and not used in the field as much. Wood button closure.
3. Federal painted canvas haversack with buckle closure. Made by La Pierre Sutler. I wouldn’t say it is campaign quality but it is pretty good. field used.
