INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
:
Wash the cover and cylinder head surfaces with solvent.
Remove all traces of oil.
Silicone gaskets are installed
DRY
(
No oil
or lube used of any type).
TORQUE TO 20-25
INCH
POUNDS
**Do not over tighten**
It causes the gasket to squeeze or bulge out.
Silicone gaskets should not bulge or "pooch out".
If this happens, then back off on the torque.
To re-use gasket
:
Wash gasket in hot soapy water.
Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
Re-install using the above installation instructions.
