    Description

    A cross within a cross within a cross.  This beautiful medallion pendant is gold tone metal with mini pearls at 4 corners and bail, a cross covered by oval shape with golden cross at center and a red cross inside of that.  Oval shape is filled with a thick varnish.  13 1/2" of gold tone twisted rope chain run from each side of bail ending at a sturdy lobster claw clasp. From the Vatican Library Collection, the necklace measures 15 1/2" overall with clasp closed.  Medallion measures 2" top to bottom X1" wide.   Preowned but never worn.  Purchased at Vatican City and stored as keepsake.
