Vintage Japanese Nagoya Obi Wall Hanging
w/ Mandarin Ducks & Floral
We've done the work for you!  For your consideration is this incredible silk Japanese nagoya obi turned into a decorative wall hanging ready to enhance any room!  This nagoya obi is 9.5 feet long, has a pre-folded portion and is stitched in half.  The narrower part is tied around the waist, and the wider section is used to make the bow.  Many have admired the nagoya obi but have wondered how to display this wonderful item.  A short copper rod hung by nylon rope was spot-tacked in several places to hold the shape of our tapestry.  These stitches can easily be removed to return the obi to its original form so it can be used in a different manner.  This particular obi has mandarin ducks and floral including chrysanthemum and plum blossom.  It would be a beautiful complement to any room's decor.
